CREATION VS EVOLUTION

  1. One species cannot evolve into another.

    1. Crossbreeding of dogs or cats will produce different kinds of dogs or cats (micro-evolution). But cats do not evolve into dogs (macro-evolution) and vice versa. No one, including creation scientists, disputes that so-called "micro-evolution" (variation within a type of organism) caused by natural selection occurs and may be responsible for the large number of species found within a type. Almost all touted evidences for evolution are of this category (like Darwin's finches, the "peppered moth", or bacteria that become resistant to antibiotics). However, it is important to note that "micro-evolution" is a misnomer, as it implies that "a little" evolution is taking place. In actuality, NO evolution is taking place, as no increase in complexity (such as the development of a new organ) is being generated, but merely the emphasis of some already present traits over others.

    2. If evolution is true, then we will still be witnessing life being formed from inorganic matters or some creatures still in the evolutionary process. We can’t see any of them today in spite of the tens of thousands of varieties of species around us.

    3. Fossil records do not show the missing links supposedly to have existed between the species. They simply show that all these species existed just as they are today. It is just that some of these species have gone extinct.

    4. Evolution demands progression and progression demands that there was at one time, a semi-developed heart, lung, liver, or an imperfect and incomplete immune, digestive or reproductive system. But we know that no living animal will survive for a moment with half a heart, kidney or any of its vital organs. Either they come complete or they die.

  2. Life, with its complexities, cannot come from inorganic matters without any external intelligence or help.

    1. The Second Law of Thermodynamics teaches that all things, living or non-living, are heading towards disorderliness rather than to something more organized or complex. If we were to leave an apple or a dead animal alone, it will rot and decompose. It will not evolve into something more complex. Likewise, if we let alone a car or a house for a long time, it will rust and break down.

    2. Every living thing is made up of trillions of living cells. The simplest living cell consists of millions of parts put together simultaneously without which it cannot live. All our technology and know-how today cannot even create “a fraction of a fraction” of a living cell.
