VI. Overcoming Personal Barriers in Evangelism

To be able to share the gospel effectively, we must first overcome personal barriers in evangelism, which include:

1. Creeping Universalism (some Christians doubt the doctrine of hell, which results in the dilution of the importance of faith-sharing)

   "for we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ... since, then, we know what it is to fear the LORD, we try to persuade men." - 2 Cor 5:10-11
   

2. Limited speaking ability
3. Limited Intellectual ability (worrying how to answer questions posed by intellectuals)
4. Fear of rejection
5. Limited power (when we depending on ourselves rather than placing our trust on God and the Holy Spirit to bring us through all circumstances)

In a nutshell, the only real barrier to sharing our faith is SELF. Trust in God to guide us, guard us and empower us.
